HELLO WORLD(and Underworld)!

Good news! I have finally beat both Halo 3 and Halo: Reach on legendary, thanks completely to our resident HARVEE DENT. He has put up with a lot of swearing out of me as he dragged me through all of that, in the name of points!

So add that plus what he has been dragging me through in Gears of War(the first one), I am up to 11,015 Gamerscore. -does happy dance-

So what exactly have I been playing you ask? Well I have been playing Dungeon Siege 3. It's a very good game and fun co-op play. But I feel it was a little too short for my taste's. But there is still plenty of points to go on that one and I have the feeling that the obsessed side of me will want to try and grab all of those points. Because short or not; It's a freaking fun game!

Next has been of course both of Halo 3, and Halo: Reach. And really what else can I say? Playing those things on Legendary is like wanting to stab your eyes out several thousand times. But when you finally get through it, it's extremely rewarding and makes you feel all fuzzy inside that you have finished it. XD

Now, I have been playing Gears of War as well. Gears of course is still a work in progress. Needless to say that Harvee has to deal with A LOT more swearing than he probably EVER had to deal with when he was getting me through Halo... Thus far I have beaten act one on insane, hardcore and casual; then I have actually beaten the game completely on casual. But there is still quite a bit more to do in that area.
Gears so far seems to be a great game with a very interesting storyline. The characters are something that everyone can get attached to, and the battle system isn't to different than the battle system in Mass Effect.

And back from it's grande hiatus is my second favorite game Dragon Age: Origins. I am determined to complete that game with ALL of it's DLC if it is the last thing I do. I give Dragon Age: Origins 5/5 stars because I love the battle system, the storyline is amazing, the characters make the game unforgettable and the DLC's (minus Witch Hunt...) are great! So if you don't have it or at least haven't tried it... YOU BETTER GO RIGHT NOW AND GET THIS GAME!

Along with Dragon Age: Origins, new DLC for Dragon Age 2 has come out, and of course being me, I bought it. I have been playing the new DLC called Mark of the Assassin and re-downloaded Legacy because it was glitched. The DLC is most definitely fun. A good way to just sit down and play something with an interesting story line. No real complaints other than the glitches that seem to come with the new Dragon Age 2 DLC's now-a-days. So be warned you might have to download them twice.

Lastly, I have traded in a massive load of games; games that I deemed I would never play again, to get the new game out called Dark Souls. It is the second game after the extremely challenging PS3 exclusive Demon Souls. So far, the catch phrase they have put with this game "Prepare to Die" is correct. There is no choosing your game difficulty because the entire game is set on INSANE difficulty. I have never screamed at my TV screen so much and I am not even that far into the game. But aside from the almost impossible monsters and bosses, a great deal of thought. The story line from what i have seen (and read because I also purchased the guidebook for Dark Souls...) is pretty intelligent. There seems to be a whole world just waiting to be uncovered. And instead of playing as a regular hero as we are all so used to playing as, we actually play as an undead character. I think it is an excellent twist! I am excited to see what happens in this game. I just have to actually get through the first couple bosses to get there. -deep sigh-

So that my friends is what I have been playing recently. And aside from waiting patiently for the newest installment of the Elder Scrolls saga (Skyrim), The newest Soul Calibur is coming out! Soul Calibur 5 is looking like it's going to be a turning point in it's series. Now whether it is going to be a good turn or a bad turn, I don't yet know. Apparently all the characters are fifteen years older and they have brought in some newbies into the fray. I am a little worried about all of it being so drastic but here's hoping. -crosses fingers- -scrunches up face tightly- -makes a silent gaming wish-

Well I think that is going to be all for today.
Have fun guys!
